I was watching this tv program for the first time last night ... it's about first time home buyers ... this one was titled fashion diva or something similar ... the home buyer was an over the top diva with very high expectations, low budget and didn't want to budge on anything ... her attitude was outrageous at the beginning of the show ...

anyway the real estate owner showed her a condo with a beautiful IKEA kitchen - Adel white doors, lansa handles - granite countertops ... that's the condo unit she ended up buying. It had everything she wanted but the price !

That show cracks me up ...

"Heather is a 26-year-old graduate of State University. She's looking for a house in the upscale X neighborhood with at least 3,500 square feet of living space, including updated kitchen and baths, walk-in closets, and a swimming pool.

hysterical -- what is this show? (note: my husband and I are in our late 30s, early 40s, and our house is only 20,000 sq ft!)

It's "Property Virgins" on HGTV. It's funny to watch with my family, but I can't stand to watch it alone. The sense of entitlement displayed by every single buyer I've seen so far makes my blood boil! Especially the "I don't think I should have to compromise ..." bit.

It's fun to watch the real estate agents trying to explain to the prospective buyers what their budgets will actually buy.
