Why IKEA? Because the Returns Dept is great

Kudos to the Twin Cities Returns Department for their excellent service. They handled my extra kitchen returns (on three receipts, two credit cards and a couple days beyond the 90-day limit) with aplomb, even though it took an hour!

But they also:

- found 4 rail hardware nuts and bolts and gave them to me for free
- found an opened Knappa light and gave me 6-7 petals to replace the ones that cracked when my two pendants crashed to the table when the blue tape failed as I was adjusting the spacing. Free too.

I don't know how they found these very specific parts, but I really appreciate their great service.

Hey Birkie, that's great! Consider posting to the Twin Cities listing in the Store Directory - I'm sure others would like to hear about your good experience in the returns department, and if you have the name(s) of co-worker(s) who helped you, all the better.

Hey Birkie!

Thank so much for your post... I just wanted to let you know that I passed your praise on to the coworkers in the Returns Department! (They don't get a lot of love notes.)

Thanks for the Valentine's Day love!

Re: Why IKEA? Because the Returns Dept is great

Thanks for pointing me to the Store Directory on this site. I did leave my feedback there. What a great resource if we all start adding in what we know.

For example, the Directory has forms where we can fill in the telephone number for the Kitchen Department, and the Kitchen Expediter--both of which I used (and will dig up to add to the list).
