My internet connection is screwy today and not allowing me to browse freely to see if I can find the pics to post.
In the HOME Magazine (July/August 2008 issue), I believe it's an Arlig Medium Brown Kitchen with Aviskt wall cabinets that was done by a Beverly Hills, CA designer, and the Stolmen closet system installed in a walk-in closet.
I didn't realize how nice the Stolmen looks because the internet pics. don't show the detail and quality appearance.
We have Stolmen in our bedroom, and it is great. Really robust and flexible. It is kind of a PITA to install, simply because the components are hearty (read: heavy), but once in, it is SOLID!
I know! I took pics, but I can't seem to find them on the computer right now. I looked for a while yesterday before I posted, knowing that was coming. *sigh* I will look again!
I wonder how it would look mounting (3) of them side by side for a long vanity.
I'm curious about the color selection of the Stolmen. It says it comes in black-brown, black-brown/glass, white, & white/glass. Have you seen the version with glass? If so, what part is glass?
Laurie, in the store I saw some glass-topped drawer units, intended to be used as some kind of display unit.
Oh! And I LOVE that hack...and the whole bathroom overhaul. It is inspiring! Their bathroom is a LOT like ours (ours is even smaller, if you can imagine it!)
I was thinking that something like this could be done utilizing the Stolmen drawers for a sink. But one question I have about them, since there's an opening where the hand cut-out is on the Stolmen, would you be able to see all the contents of the drawer? If so, I'd opt out. I'm envisioning drawers like the white abstrakt.
And unlike what was written under the pic., I like the twigs in the vase!! Personally, I'm not getting why they put the light in that spot in the first place. Nifty square toilet and I love the faucet.
Bruising? Well, I guess our rear-side does resemble a circle rather than a square (a rather large circle for me, unfortunately!!).
Ya know, I purchased a set of glassware that were square (with rounded corners) because I thought they were cool. Little did I realize that when you drink out of them it's a little awkward and I tend to drink from the corner. So, perhaps a round object in a square toilet just wouldn't mix.
