The new issue of Domino magazine has a 7-page spread on high-end kitchens that all feature IKEA cabinets. Definitely worth picking up...there are some great ideas in there. One person even custom-made fronts out of MDF painted teal.

There's a bonus kitchen on their website:
> maximizing space in the kitchen
