Re: Fab Finds in the AS-IS room

Earlier tonight ... absolutely nothing!

OK, so my real mission was to get more dinnerware and flatware so I can go a little longer before having to do dishes (basically until it's a full load versus running out of something and having to run a partial load) ... but it did suprise Jeffrey (cashier) that I didn't have a single item from the AS-IS!

Re: Fab Finds in the AS-IS room

At IKEA Woodbridge yesterday, we picked up a $199 Markor bookcase (the long, low one) for $129 and a STAVE (I think) mirror that sells for $69.99 for $9.99. The best part was that we'd collected a number of gift cards and returns (store credit) cards and with those and a few of those coupons you get at the bottom of your receipt for 1% off when you use a debit card, we paid only....
.02!
and, that's my two cents.

Oh, and we gave out a bunch of IKEAFANS FanClub cards to the guys working in the AS-IS room. Hi guys working in the AS-IS room! We need a special discount for IKEAFANS!

Re: Fab Finds in the AS-IS room

That's a record low balance alright!

The best I've ever done was 0.11 ... and that's only because 0.10 is the cheapest they'd mark anything!

Not much of anything for me tonight otherwise.

Re: Fab Finds in the AS-IS room

Emeryville had 24x80 Rubrik Turq the other day for $20... dh wouldn't let me buy any since i have no use for them. spoiled sport!!!
sending good vibes to the as-is for the wooden loft (full size) bed since i don't want to shell out $400 for it and i need one for kid's room....

Re: Fab Finds in the AS-IS room

Dulci, I thought about you cuz our store still has Rubrik turq on display - a cruel hoax! I wondered whether you still needed any.

Narf - Ha! I beat the bargain hunter! Woo-hoo! I'll be going back sometime in the next week (our daughter lost her Leapster and Smaland found it), so I'll get to look again, but I seriously doubt I'll ever beat the .02 total! I'm so proud.

worse yet. I have this Royal Blue polar fleece pull over and a yellow USB key with my car keys and people think I work there and start asking questions... that I gladly answer... :-)

Re: Fab Finds in the AS-IS room

Just a note that Stoughton MA IKEA had an over the range microwave, in original box, for $150 (thats 1/2 off!) this Sunday. It's in white, which probably explains why is was still there...

Good deal tho!

Re: Fab Finds in the AS-IS room

Mumsig SS convection oven for ... well, once I get my new computer fully set back up (old one died, and I didn't care, hence my absence ), I'll post a pic.

It was nowhere close to the regular $999 price at all ...
