What do you guys think about the redesign of the Ikea US website? There are still errors on it, but I like the new look.

i like the new look a lot. and i like that they got rid of the product scroll down menu... hopefully they'll tweak and fix the errors!

When did it change? As of last night, all I get is This site is unavailable
for anything other than the front page.

I'm getting the same error message. Apparently they are still working on the site . I can't wait to see what it looks like once it is completed!

I care less about how it looks than I do about more accurate display of their products, a better search function, and the ability to order kitchen cabinets over the internet.

The site is live right now. If you are getting an error message, it's because the old version of the site is cached in your internet browser, and it can't resolve the new site. Open your browser, go to the US Ikea site, and hit ctrl+F5. It's the shortcut to automatically clear your cache and to refresh the site.

This site is unavailable
This site is being updated and is currently unavailable.

I can get there and use the tabs on the site to navigate, but the alphabetical product list doesn't work for me.

That's interesting. The site shows up fine for me. What internet browser are you using? Maybe there are some compatibilty issues.

That is it!

I usually use Firfox 2.0. I just checked with Internet Explorer 6.0 and the IKEA site works fine. Tried again with Firefox, "Site is unavailable." Did a CTRL + F5 and I finally got to the new front page.

They must have been working on fixing that last night.
