| Re: Is the Lillberg sofa suitable for outdoor use?
Hello, I just noticed your question is still not answered. I do not know the answer of your question, so may be someone else can asnwer it, but I can give it a try.
When I was a kid, we used on warm days our wooden dining chairs outside in the garden as we did not have garden chairs. When we went inside, the chairs did not stay outside.
As long as the weather is dry and the chairs stay dry too, the wood probably stays in a good quality. However, the radiation of the sun may change the colour of the wood, so a good paint or varnish will help.
Further, Lillberg is made of birch (white) or birch or beech (black). Not much garden furniture is made of these kind of woods, when I look around most is made of acacia, oak or pine.
Probably the colour of the cushions will fade away, because of the (sun)light. |
