I recently bought a Malm king size bed frame from the as-is section and I think this is an older model as it has the horse shoe connector and cross braces fit like an "X"
There was not instructions booklet with this set and the one on Ikea site is for the new model (kite shaped cross braces).
I will be using Sultan foam matress and hence wanted to use the upper level of holes.
I fit the l shaped side frame on the upper level on either sides and the mid-beam holder as well on the upper side. On laying the slats down the whole thing seems to apex at the center on the mid-beam.
Can someone please let me know where am I going wrong? I just can use my bed currently and really would appreciate any help.
