Creaky Sultan Lien?

Hey all,

so i just finished a full malm bed with sultan lien slats. they come curved of course, and i notice a creak while i'm on the bed because the slats are curved. do they flatten out eventually? i do hope so...

Re: Creaky Sultan Lien?

so i did a search and found that you cannot get rid of the creaks. so, i put a sleeping bag b/w the slats and the midbeam. problem solved, no more noise. thank goodness the bed is low, you cannot see the sleeping bag from afar.

Re: Creaky Sultan Lien?

How about a "smaller", lower profile solution - a strip of foam, felt or cardboard, perhaps?
