How are Sultan Legs used?

Hi there,

I need to raise my Dalselv single bed since I moved to a new flat with very limited space. I came across these Sultan Legs from the Ikea website http://www.ikea.com.sg/images/catalo...096263_250.jpg but have no idea how to use them, and if I can use them at all to raise my bed.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: How are Sultan Legs used?

At least here in the US, Ikea offered mattresses with a built-in frame that one could either use without the bed slats or attach Sultan legs directly on them to use as a bed.

That said, what you are looking for are called bed risers. At least here in the US, Ikea has some white plastic ones. I have seen other places offer wooden ones, though.

Re: How are Sultan Legs used?

Thanks Narf , I also called Ikea here in SG and they advised against raising a Dalselv bed frame as it might not be stable.

Looks like I'll have to get a new bed instead
