| Re: Which slats for Ramberg Queen size bed frame?
Welcome to IKEAFANS, tsnake.
The most common option (if only because they're the oldest version of the slats) is the Lade bed slats. They are not much more than a bunch of flat 1x4 sticks strung together, which you roll out across the frame of the bed. They provide pretty basic support.
Newer to the IKEA range are the Lien and Liared slats. The Liared slats are a curved version of the Lade, in that all of the slats are the same dimension. The Lien slats are also curved, but have 2 or 3 different size slats, and also have a set of 5 or 6 slats that "double up" and can be adjusted to give you a little more support, depending on your size and weight.
In terms of "installation", the Lade are the easest - they just roll out. Next easist would be the Liared - you insert the ends of each slat into 1 of 2 plastic splines, and then lay them out across the frame. Last would be the Lien, which require you to line up the slats in a certain order, then lay out as in the Liared. In any case, none of this is rocket science.
As to whether one is better or worse, this is going to be more a question of personal preference than anything else.
