| Hanging a diginet wire curtain INSIDE book shelf?
Has anyone attempted to hang the diginet wire curtain system inside a bookshelf? I'm wanting to hang a lightweight grommet-style curtain across the front of a 60" shelf, planning to mount the brackets on the inside back of the shelf, use an eye-hook to turn the wire to head across the front to the other side eye-hook, back to the other bracket. Will this work? I have already tried the whole heavy duty wire, eye-hooks and pennules (tennules sp?!? I forget); and as I tightened the wire, the eye-hook came out of the wood. I gave up the whole idea, until I saw the wire curtain options in the 09 Ikea catalog. Thought I might be able to give this a go. I hope?!? |
