I have a
Mikael desk, the long one without the organizer. I like to have lots of desk space so I wanted to attach a keyboard drawer. I bought the summera keyboard from Ikea. I found out after I tried to attach it to the desk that the summera needs a full wood (at least 3/4 inch) desk to attach to. So now I have a bunch of holes on the underside of the desk and an unused summera keyboard tray.
Can anyone give me advice on how to attach a keyboard tray to the Mikael desk? I'm thinking drawer casters and some wood from Home Depot, but then I still run into the problem with the particleboard.
I did try using the anchors that came with the keyboard to mount it to the desk underside, but the summera tray was too heavy and just ripped bigger holes.
