howdy folks, just a quick post with pic to show how I modded a kitchen base cabinet to put the drawers on the bottom. It was fairly simple the way I did it, I only had to drill two extra holes for the centerpiece between the drawers. Also, the fronts have to be put on the drawers upside-down from how it's normally done, but then they go nicely flush witht he bottom of the cabinet. It's hard to see in the pic, but the shelf doesn't quite rest down on the drawer divider. I could have drilled new holes for the shelf pins, but I got lazy. I'll try to remember to post another pic when I put the drawers/doors and top on - might not be for a couple of weeks though, it's not top priority for me right now.

i had forgotten to list in my area about drilling the holes. the first time i did it the cabinet was already assembled, so it was tricky, but if you do it before assembling you can simply use the cross bar to drill your holes on the bottom of the cabinet. so much easier than what i had to do for my first reconfiguration.... i've done it on 4 bathroom vanities in addition to the sink base. i love the extra storage!
