Magiker Sideboard

Has anyone seen this in person and if so, do you think it'd go in a dining room right next to a kitchen with Adel LMB? It's on sale this weekend, so I"m wondering if I shouldn't snap it up!

http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/store...umber=30086733

that's the link, if you wanna take a peek...it'll be on sale in my area 11/24-27 for $119 and that'd be an awesome bargain!

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Lauren:

I haven't seen it in person, just your pic. But, it looks to be a close match to the Adel MB. However, you sure don't have to match color for color if you don't want to. I think mixing things up is great. Does look nice, though.

I'd venture a guess that if you wanted to, either the kitchen department will give you a sample (they actually do have them, or used to, but it's a carefully guarded secret) or let you take a door over to compare. They could easily pop one off a display and put it back.

But, like Laurie said...it doesn't HAVE to match!

Ahhhhh but I'm decorating challenged

therefore, if it doesn't match, I can't for the life of me figure out if it goes together or not! LOL

I'm going to get the secret decoder ring and take it to IKEA on Sunday and hopefully come back with a sample....will let you know if my plan works!

Thanks all!

I was in Ikea yesterday and made a point of looking at the magiker brown sideboard. It is quite different from Adel MB. It is more of an orange tint, and also looks like a printed pattern rather than a real woodgrain. You won't need to carry a door over to see if it's different, it's obvious.

I find that the Bonde line is a very good match to the Adel MB.
