High Fidelity is one of my favorite movies ever!
You guys are great with all the ideas! The problem for some of them is that the apartment ceiling is vaulted...I wanted to do curtains but can't do them because of the vault..
but the freestanding bookcase ideas could work definitely! I'll look at ikea this weekend.
