I have the 3-shelf Billy bookshelf but also an L-shaped end shelf that sits on either the right or left of it. The L-shaped piece is reversible - so that the shelves face correctly depending which side you place it. I desperately need the instructions for this L-shaped end if someone can help - IKEA says they no longer make this product, which I bought in 2000.

Hi! I don't have your instructions, but I wanted to let you know that I'd moved your post (which was a comment on the Billy bookcase instructions) to this forum where it will get the attention it deserves.

Good luck in getting what you need! If you can't get the instructions, you may wish to ask in Assembly and Installation - some of the folks over there have extensive experience (dating back decades) in assembly and installation of IKEA products.

Hi! I'm also looking for these instructions - I think its called an end unit. I bought it on ebay and now have no idea how to assemble it to attach to my billy cases. Plus the 2 lengths are not even the same length?? Can anyone help?

I have it assembled as a RH unit and due to room reorganisation need to change it to the LH unit - its got to be simple - but how?

I had the same problem how to get it together and I used the instruction for Billy L shaped bookcase but the big one. It isn't that difficult to make it
