Looks a bit like a reddish stained zebrawood? I like it, it'd fit in really well with a lot of colors. It'd probably look nice with a contrasting color solid wood edging, kind of like you see with Nexus Birch? So you'd have the tinted zebra wood look surrounded by a 1/8 or so of light colored wood, could be really striking...

It is a door that goes with a bookcase system, but the options are mixing it with black/brown, beech or white. The whole line that coordinates with it...Besta/Ineda (did I get it right?) is really nice looking and it looks beefy.
That door has a Wow factor and I'll bet it looks great mixed with glass and solids...yummy
someone said yesterday that besta is replacing bonde?

That was probably me. I had originally planned a dining room renovation around a Bonde wall unit and then found out the Besta series is replacing it. The Bonde stock is pittifully low around here (metro NY/LI area), so I have no choice but to wait for the Besta to arrive and start from scratch. I'll reserve judgement on the quality (fit/finish) of the Besta components until I can see them in person, rather than the
UK
website. This is a pain since I don't want to commit to a color for the room until I see what the finishes actually look like.
