I can't imagine that some one hasn't already posted the answer, but I'll be darned if I could find it...

I've got hopes of having a mixed kitchen with NBB and Adel MB, and am willing to wait for the Nov 07 delivery date for the NBB doors and cover panels. The only difficulty is that one other thing I was going to do with the NBB is build a surround/bar under the peninsula so that the 30" cabinet under there can be a rolling island (and the surround would hold up the counter top)... This means delays in NBB => delays in countertop => sad me.

So... I was wondering if there were other options for the big flat sheets of NBB that I'd need. For example some Gallant Black-Brown desk/table tops? I'll need three pieces (larger than this): two 36"x24", one 36"x31"

The Pax line of wardrobes comes in a brown/black now...it might work for you. I don't think they have cover panels, but the frame pieces are huge.

Fundamentally are all the Black-Browns in the different lines the same as the Nexus BB? (or really close...)

What I just heard is that the veneer for the NBB is of higher quality because of the (new!) 25 yr warantee for kitchens.

I would bet that the color is similar, but the wear layer and the adhesion process is probably different.
