Planning a trip to Texas and just noticed that the Torsby dining table is no longer available in either Houston or Round Rock. As a matter of fact, it doesn't seem to be available anywhere but in Twin Cities and Sacramento. If I order in a store in Texas, is there a way that Ikea can order it from one of their other store and ship it to Texas quickly? Thanks!
I'm not sure how IKEADirect handles this- do they have a central facility or do they use the multiple stores and distribution centers to push orders? Any IKEANS out there who could comment on the best way to accomplish this? Could Billie just call the Twin Cities store and ask them to ship?
I'm pretty sure that you will *not* be able to go to a Texas IKEA and ask that they acquire one from another store's stock. IKEAs are separate entities and do not share stock. You can definitely call the Twin Cities or Sacramento and ask them to ship, but the cost may be excessive. For sure, call the IKEA closest to you.
