I am in need of a new bedroom set, and although the word on the streets is that ikea furniture is junk...I am thinking the price point is just right for my budget (I am not about to pay in excess of $2k for a bedroom set at any furniture store).

I really like the brown/black color scheme for the bedroom, and am looking for bedroom set ideas. Does anyone know what is coming out in the new 2007 catelog? Is there going to be anything that will fill my needs? I would love to get a Pax corner closet system to add to the limited closet space in my new home, however not sure if it comes in BB. I would also like to get that bed that has the sliding nightstands attached to it, but i havent seen it in BB nor have I seen any other furniture to match in BB.

any ideas...or suggestions...or other routes i could possibly go???

I think that Malm is the only series of bedroom furniture that comes in brown/black. Also, I've only really seen the malm dressers in that color, never the bed.

The Pax wardrobes might be in the brown/black color for the new catalog, but I'm not too sure.

actually, HEMNES is black brown too.. ive heard that is sturdier than malm as well (its solid wood)
