Hello there,

I am hoping some one will be able to help. Where can I find a catalogue photo and dimensions of a Vradal twin loft bed? Our bed is small-ish, about 30" from the floor and has a wee ladder. I believe it came with a slide as well, but they were never in stock! I didn't think to keep the instructions or the catalogue and this item has been discontinued (although why, I don't know, it was wildly popular with all my kids and my nieces and nephews!)

Try doing a Google image search of "Vradal loft bed" - I got a couple of hits.

Yes, I did a google search before posting, and didnt find an exact match.
Our is clear lacquer pine with no inserts, no metal. It has a two rung ladder, Dimensions are approx 75"x38"x27"high. I am guessing it is a Vradal but want to be sure before I ask Ikea for replacement hardware. Time to put it back into commission.

Actually, after some more searching I found our low rise loft bed in the ebay. uk site. They are calling it a "mid-sleeper". I don't know how to post the photo so I could get some help identifying if it is a Vradal.

You are needing to get replacement hardware, is that right? In the customer service or As-Is area, IKEA has lots of replacement hardware in bins, probably for free or very little $. The question is what parts do you need? If we could find the instructions, that would have a list but that may be hard to find if it's 6 or 7 years old.

Have you looked at the instructions for the other Vradal beds? Is some of the hardware the same? Would you recognize the parts if you saw them?

<chuckle> Yes, I saw that photo as well, but didnt want to post it (looks quite untidy!). This is pretty much what ours looks like. It is quite low -- about 27" from the ground. Ironically, there is one for sale on craigslist in our area, but the seller also does not know the "model" name and does not have assembly instructions. Foiled again!!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recognize the hardware parts --- my husband assembled it and he is deployed. My daughter and I are going to be taking on this task. I will head over to the Woodbridge , VA Ikea and see if they can help me there. If I knew for sure what "model" I had I wouldn't feel like such an idiot when asking for help. Sigh.

You'd think they'd clean it up for the photo since they're trying to sell it.
