Just realized I never posted in this thread. When we redid daughter's room last year we based the custom built bed around the Stuva line. I LOVE STUVA!!!

I need to post pics (story of my life) but Stuva is one of my favorite ikea lines.

Kayla I would really like to see that . Is the bed made from the Stuva stuff or just kind of framed by it? I'm not happy with the prefab "captain's bed" we bought for our daughter and always thinking about how to redo it someday....

I bought an "ultimate bed" and hated it. So I designed a captain's bed with otf cabinets for our room. I'm planning on building the same for our new apartment. I'll post that as well (someone nag me)

But for dd 's room we built a loft bed for her. The Stuva is under it, the height was determined by units. I'll definitely post soon.
