Title kisaacs' Stat White Kitchen - Before and (Almost) After
Details about the pictures in this set I'd like to share with others... Cabinets: IKEA STAT White (obviously). Love them

Countertops: Maple butcher block from Lumber Liquidators. To finish them, we sanded with three different grits, then finished with 3 coats of Waterlox Marine Sealer and then 2 coats of Waterlox Marine Finish. Then buffed with very fine steel wool to take the shine down just a tiny bit. Here's the link to the waterlox stuff:

Backsplash: Tin ceiling tiles in a copper finish from American Tin Ceilings. It's the metalic copper in pattern #3, I think. I have to give my husband credit on this one. We were stuck on backsplash (like everyone else), and went to a restaurant where they had copper tiles on the wall. I thought it might be too much, but was willing to order a sample, and fell in love with it. I love how warm it is, and actually really like it against the stainless, wich I thought would be weird. They are EXTREMELY easy to put up. Just cut, glue, and nail the corners. Plus, my favorite part...no grout! Here's a link: http://www.americantinceilings.com/c...s-coppers.html

Sink: It's from Lowes...I don't remember much about it except that it was the biggest undermount we could easily get in the 30" cabinet.

Faucet: From HD. It's Price Pfister, but that's all I remember. Once I pick things out, I don't remember what they are anymore.

Paint: Again from HD. It's "Sagey" by Behr.

Flooring: Is obviously not in yet, but will be a 3 1/4" wide light cherry from Lumber Liquidators.

Appliances: All from Lowes, all Frigidaire, all pretty much the cheapest stainless you could get. We wanted stainless, but were on a pretty tight budget. We got all four for <$2500.

Timeline: We put together all the cabs before Christmas but didn't start demo til New Year's weekend. It took us about a month total. Now, we're very tired and we're taking a break before attacking the kitchen floor and the bathroom.
