Caprial Pence at IKEA Seattle October 20, 2009

Celebrity chef Caprial Pence will present the first of five free cooking seminars offered through Food University in a program offered by IKEA in conjunction with Family Circle magazine on October 20, 2009.

The program will be held in the demonstration kitchen (first kitchen you encounter when coming from the Marketplace or Smäland) in IKEA Seattle’s Kitchen Department from 6pm until 8pm – get there early as it’s all standing room only! A focus will be given to cooking with fresh, local ingredients and enhancing flavors with spices.  Also, tips and tricks will be offered during the demonstration of recipes from Family Circle magazine.

Caprial Pence has enjoyed a long and celebrated career as a chef, restauranteur and author.  Her latest book, ‘Caprial & John’s Kitchen: Recipes for Cooking Together ‘ is companion to her cooking show, ‘Caprial and John’s Kitchen: Cooking for Friends and Family’ that she works on with her chef husband John.
