Did you know that IKEA has a Kid’s Club? It’s FREE, but it’s only available in limited locations, so check with your store. Find out where the Kids Club is available, the benefits (free stuff, including entire birthday parties!) and what you need to do to register after the jump!

IKEA Kids Club Membership Benefits

Open to kids of varying ages, the IKEA Kids’ Club offers members advance notice of special events in the store, store discounts, a special birthday gift from IKEA, a quarterly newsletter and more. Sounds like fun to me! Check out specifics on in-store and email offers as well as how to register in different locations below.

IKEA Seattle Kids Club

Check out the IKEA Kids Club at the Seattle IKEA here: IKEA Seattle Children and Families page. The Seattle IKEA Kids Club is open to kids ages 0-10 and you can sign up in the store at a Kids Club Kiosk, located near the entrance. After signing up, receive your Kids Club card in the mail and remember to bring it to the store when you visit to keep your membership activated (must swipe card once per year to continue membership) and to receive special gifts, including a postcard on your birthday with a gift reward coupon!

IKEA Canada Kids Club

IKEA Canada has gone green! Well, at least at IKEA Richmond and IKEA Coquitlam where we can find evidence of Kid’s Clubs in existence. No more membership cards required, plus a digital newsletter, smålnews, is emailed to members once a quarter in August, November, February and May (though the last one I can find online is Summer 2009) rather than snail-mailed paper versions. IKEA Coquitlam and IKEA Richmond are offering a once a month birthday party giveaways, so be sure to download your newsletters to find out the details on Kids Club Giveaways.

IKEA Birthday Party Giveaway

Once a month, IKEA Coquitlam and IKEA Richmond are giving away an IKEA Birthday Party to a lucky IKEA Kids Club member between the ages of 5-12.

Parties will happen on the last Tuesday of each month and IKEA will host your birthday party for you and up to 8 of your friends. IKEA will provide food, fun activities, a loot bag, and a $50 gift certificate for the Birthday Kid. The total prize package is worth approximately $200. Be sure to enter the contest the month before your birthday! The draw will be done on the last day of each month and the winner will be notified by phone.

IKEA Australia Kids Club

IKEA Australia Kids’ Club offers a coupon for a free kid’s meal upon registration, a lanyard on which to hang the membership card, and free prizes on each visit during which you swipe your membership card plus a special birthday surprise (prizes are awarded by chance and include the following possibilities: storage baskets $3.50, stickers $4, CD wallets $2, alarm clocks $4, textas $2, Christmas decorations $3, ice creams $2, aprons $5 and soft toys $4.50. IKEA AU’s Kids Club is available to IKEA VIC and NSW residents only. Sign up using the touch-screen membership kiosks or through the IKEA Australia website. Email newsletters are coming soon!
