We’re getting the jump on this new mobile web from IKEA – it’s not fully developed right now (nor widely known!) so we have the opportunity to help aid the development and influence the features that are made available in the future. Functionality is limited right now, but my little birdie tells me that new, exciting features are coming!

As a franchise store, (though recently returned to the fold), forward-thinking IKEA Seattle launched a mobile loyalty program nearly two years ago using bCODE technology in-store to provide special offers to IKEA Mobile members. If’ you’re a customer of the IKEA store in Renton, Washington, you too can join IKEA Seattle’s Mobile program by texting IKEA1 to 62345 - it’s free!  Monthly, members receive a set of exclusive time-limited offers via SMS. An example of a group of offers might be:

• 20% off a particular product or class of products,
• a restaurant meal coupon,
• or a dollar amount off a certain purchase total
