According to reliable sources inside IKEA, the IKEA Kitchen Sale starting March 12, and running through May 2, 2010 is the last of its kind for at least a few years, so if you’re wanting to get up to 20% off your IKEA Kitchen, you best get planning!

Save up to 20% with Appliance Purchases

Beginning this Friday, March 12th, you can save up to 20% on the total price of your kitchen cabinets and appliances with the purchase of three kitchen appliances. Not interested in IKEA branded Whirlpool appliances? Find Kitchen Appliances. Even without the purchase of any appliances, you can still save 10% off your kitchen total which isn’t insignificant – especially in this economy. If you’re on a budget, IKEA kitchens offer one of the best values and even more so with up to 20% off.

Want to know why IKEA is axing Kitchen Sales? Find out why after the jump.

IKEA Kills the Kitchen Sale

Reliable insiders at IKEA have informed us that the IKEA Kitchen sale starting on Friday will be the last one. IKEA has seen a drop in kitchen sales in the months leading up to anticipated Kitchen Sales (typically there is a Fall Kitchen Sale and a Spring Kitchen Sale), and management wants to even out the total kitchen sales over time. There will still be special sales, such as Tax Free sales, which in some markets can be significant savings (up to almost 10% in some areas!), and other offers at individual stores, but this will be the last kitchen sale in which you can save 10% – 20% off an entire kitchen order. Get busy planning folks!

Stay tuned for more information as we have it available.

I’m thinking to buy my kitchen cabinets and appliances while kitchen special offer is going.
I tried the demo on the web site and I noticed that I will get 10% discount for my entire kitchen purchase,
as long as the tolal price of kitchen cabinets and appliances becomes $2500 or more,
and I will get more discount if I buy 2 appliances (15% off) or 3 appliances(20% off) on the top.

The site says ‘Buy an IKEA kitchen (minimum $2500) and SAVE 10% on your entire kitchen purchase!*’

So, I’m not sure if Appliances can be also included to the minimum $2500…

All I can say about this being the last sale is…

    “BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!”

Let’s hope they change their collective minds.

Ikea customer service is great. Bought a kitchen at the end of February, and just got a price adjustment for the kitchen sale. Thanks Ikea Fans for the heads up on the sale. I love your site!

I just purchased my kitchen on Friday and I got the 20% discount. I bought 7 cabinets and three appliances. The total was $4K and then the discount was deducted…$800 savings. It doesnt matter if you buy any cabinets at all…you can buy appliances only if you want, as long as it comes to $2500 or more. They are delivering all my stuff this week since I live 100+ miles from the store.

would like comments on domsjo farmsink dbl bowl… found one in chicago store, but display had black “scuff” marks on it… important i get comments back soon… also anyone shop at ikea in canada.. what are duty rules… thanks..

Hi Cookspond – I saw your posts in the forums as well. If you do a search on the site, you will see MANY, MANY threads about the Domsjo sink, including comments about cleaning it. As for the duty on imports, you may wish to ask that directly – in the forums, which is where you’ll get the most responses to your questions. Good luck!

FWIW, I think the Domsjo is an awesome sink, especially for the price.

    Susan
