A NEXUS Yellow-Brown, RUBRIK Stainless and ABSTRAKT White Kitchen
What a blessing this Thanksgiving! I can’t tell you how much it speaks to the power of community when I see a thread like this one by IKEAFANS forum member johnnydeluxe: NEXUS / RUBRIK / ABSTRAKT & a DOKSTA for Thanksgiving.
Thank you all. I’ve seen so many beautiful kitchens and living spaces here on this inspirational forum and I finally get to share mine with all of you that gave me the motivation to work even harder to complete it (at least most of it) once and for all. Thank you, Thank you!!! …
I’d also like to take this time to thank those of you who’ve offered advice and those of you that didn’t even know you had offered advice. It all came together with ease and the information I found on this fantastic site was priceless!! …
Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!”
Says johnnydeluxe about the gauges and pipes on the wall:
The water lines feed the supply to the bathroom sink that’s adjacent to the wall (see pic). The gauges were salvaged from an old darkroom at work and they depict the water temp. that runs through the lines. Serves more of just a novelty item but everyone always wants to see the dials move around as the temp. rises.”
Find out what johnnydeluxe has to say about IKEA Kitchen Quality, plus more pictures and additional details on the kitchen in the original forum thread. If you like the combination of the NEXUS wood tones and the slick ABSTRAKT white cabinets, don’t miss ABSTRAKT White and NEXUS Brown-Black IKEA Kitchens.
Thank You!
Finally, thank you for reading! I’m grateful daily for all members of the IKEA Fans community, and the ability to do what I love for a living because of you! Gobble, gobble!
And an extra special Thank You to IKEAFANS Mentor Harpy for alerting me to an entire missing half of a sentence! Sheesh! What would I do without you? Thanks!

Hi – fabulous kitchen. can you tell me what the pendant light fixture is? I want one!
Thx,
Sherry
Hey Sherry – not to say that johnnydeluxe won’t post here, but you’re much more likely to get a response from him if you post in the forums on the thread linked above. He’ll receive an email notification of your post and has been regularly answering questions. Good luck!
What the Deuce?! What is this strange place that I’ve mysteriously been teleported to?! I just noticed a “blogged” icon under my username, I clicked on it and “BAM” I’m flung into a secret vault. Is it Pandora’s box, I ask? Why no, I figured it’s nothing more than just another realm of this ever-expanding web of cyber-ikean enthusiast’s site and yet the question remains…How the heck did I get blogged?!
Nonetheless, although rather peculiar, it’s pretty cool being here and big thanks to whomever got me here, lol.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments Sherry. As Susan suggests Sherry, go ahead and follow the link to the forum. There’s actually a peculiar story that goes with the lamp…cheers!!

LOL Johnny! This is the homepage of IKEAFANS.com and you’ve been blogged because you were noticed! I need to get a more systematic and democratic way of reporting on members’ posts, but for right now, I just blog about what I see that strikes me! :) If you see someone else who deserves to be here, feel free to let me know! ~Susan
