It’s almost here – the moment we’ve been waiting for! Tomorrow, find out who won the Co-Worker of the Year contest in the first episode of the four part mini-series called Easy to Assemble: Flying Solo. Three episodes will finalize the plot from Season Two of Easy to Assemble and will also introduce characters and plot elements for the (as yet unsigned, but anticipated) Season Three of IKEA’s branded web series written and starred in by Illeana Douglas. According to Wilson Cleveland, CJP Digital Media’s main man on this project,
Mid-way through Season 2 IKEA was so happy with how well the show was doing they invested in additional episodes. Rather than extend Season 2 and push the big ‘Co-Worker of the Year’ winner reveal another few weeks, Illeana and IKEA decided an even better idea for the fans would be to shoot three brand-new episodes where the winner is revealed in the first minute and then treat them to entirely new characters, new storylines and a new look and feel in terms location and style.
