This weekend, September 18-20, IKEA USA* is offering the popular Swedish Meatball plate (6 balls)  for only $1. What a deal! Ordinarily $4.29, IKEA’s swedish meatballs are the single most popular dish served at the big blue cafeteria. We wanted to know more about the food at IKEA – calories, fat, carbs, protein.  The usual stuff.  We also wanted to know just what IS a serving size of one of those cinnamon buns?  (Hint:  Take home a 6 pack of cinnamon rolls from the Swedeshop and you’re looking at breakfast for 11 of your closest friends.  And you.) We found out more than we wanted to know here: IKEA Food: Nutritional Information.

Once you’ve gotten over your shock, you can make yourself a yummy IKEA breakfast with those cinnamon rolls. It will help with recovery.  Recipe after the jump…
